ABOUT
Queen Edith FC was founded in June 2022. We are officially affiliated and accredited under Cambridgeshire FA.
Our academy welcomes boys and girls aged 5-15 years old. We are happy to see any passionate players of any skill level from beginners to those who want to become professional footballers. Everybody is welcomed as our doors are never closed.
The club aim is to play good football, not just to win. Trusting teammates, making smart decisions, and showing fearlessness will make this possible.
All players will be developed into all round football players, with bias towards their preferred or otherwise natural positions.
We also offer training only for players who currently play for other teams. This includes Grassroots and professional players. These players will be considered for tournaments and friendlies.
MEET ESSIEN
FOUNDER AND HEAD COACH
Essien is our Head of Football and founder of Queen Edith FC. He is a former professional football player who is passionate about getting children started with the right footballing habits.
He believes in every child´s potential and works hard to unlock it. Essien brings a professional attitute and training to form the individual and help them learn how to be part of a team.
His expertise has been built from youth working in football in France, China, Spain and the UK.
